december is here in full swing and my brain is stuck in august. I am sitting on almost a dozen master projects that I should attend to. gifts to send out. shows to attend. emails to reply to.

it will all get done when the time is right.

happy thanksgiving everyone. I am thankful to all of you who have reached out to me in this year to connect about theater.

my current focus is:
– in progress I am working on a few masters to release before (hopefully) the end of 2024…

Master Notes: Decent audio capture of 1NT Moulin Rouge in Tampa. Straz Center is humungous and echoey but the audio capture is full and listenable. Lol politics. As the election frenzy dies down, I can confidently turn to Broadway to distract me from the actual world I live in.

I have to turn to things I am thankful for. And I am thankful for this evening.

As I wait for the touring production of The Cher Show to commence here at Dr P PAC, I have to ask myself: “What can Cher do for me in these trying times?”

Very pleased with this recording, however some lessons learned with regards to quality. The Sep 25 show was so moving that I bought tickets to see it again the next day. The Sep 26th show was canceled due to Hurricane Helene and this master is a result of that cancellation.

Master Notes: Decent audio capture with wonderful Rayla Garske understudying the role of Mrs Neilsen. Her take is gentle and it’s a very wonderful performance. Master Notes: Book of Mormon is so wonderful to see in Orlando. The audience’s genuine reactions and inability to contain their enthusiasm to all mentions of Orlando is priceless to me. Some technical issues can be heard during Man Up and throughout, as well the packed house is quite loud at times. There is a 3-4 minute Show Hold during I Am Africa which has been edited out. Overall a really fantastic recording.
